This beautiful, vintage sterling silver Miraculous Medal pendant is an art deco teardrop guilloche shaped design, surrounded by marcasites - no stones are missing. The pendant is silvery-white guilloche, with hand painted enamel. At one time, the roses and leaves stretched all the way around. It looks like it's been prayed with many times, rubbing down the paint as well as some of the clear enamel. The enamel is very thin at the bottom center, and only a touch of green paint remains. I'm not sure if it's present on the bottom left and right corners. I've examined with a loupe and it appears to just be a very thin layer, probably from rubbing and praying, but I can't say for sure. Has normal vintage wear for it's age.

The pendant is marked Sterling on the back, and the 16" chain is marked 925 on the clasp. The pendant measures 1.25", including the bale.
