In years past, French cafe's would sometimes use plates and glasses that had the price of the order marked directly on the ware. When the garcon came by to collect the tab, all he had to do was count the francs on the dishes, and collect the money from the patron. In this case, the snack on the saucer was 2 1/2 Francs.  You'll get a set of 4 antique style cafe plates. Plates are about 5 inches in diameter, and go perfectly with our French Franc Glasses!
